Fast forward 2 weeks to me cresting the pass loaded with camping gear and jet ski's vibrating my way to the side of the road calling the dealership. The tech said if there was nothing wrong they wouldn't do anything. I initially made an oil change appointment and requested any warranty work due to be done including TSB's at 35.5k miles. They could not duplicate the problem but with the TSB number and a couple minutes of sweet talking I got the backing plates replaced for free under warranty. I took my 2011 in with 37k miles and reported that it was vibrating at freeway speeds while towing and at city speeds as well at times.
